Our Story

Founded in April 2019, Project Hydrus was built on the fundamental idea of the butterfly effect, the concept that small causes can have large effects. After being applied to the Cambodian Water Crisis, the simple idea of a kickstart was needed in solving the problem and this is where our project comes into play. Our initiative aims to supply impoverished villages in Cambodia with clean, drinkable water which will inspire others to fight for the same cause.
our COVID-19 Response
With the Coronavirus pandemic on the rise, the local community affected by the Cambodian water crisis is extremely vulnerable. We've dedicated 10% of all of our donations specifically for hygiene supplies such as soap to distribute. This minimizes the spread of the virus and cuts down the risk of infection. We would like to thank the brave workers on the front lines battling the virus and we hope that our small part will go a long way in helping.
